In order to help execute our mission, the sports boosters will need a team representative from parents of all varsity teams to represent their player’s team/sport to the boosters. These volunteers will be vital to our success and integral to the success of our partnership with the LBHS sport teams. Each Team Rep is not personally responsible for each of these duties, but they are accountable to make sure that someone does them. This cooperation and coordination will enable the boosters to provide consistent support and coverage to all of our sport teams, student-athletes and coaches.

Team Representative Duties:

• Regularly attend booster monthly meetings to represent your sports team. 
• Canvas sport team parents to solicit membership – actively recruit team parents to join the boosters.
• Find volunteers as needed.
• Coordinate fundraising activities between boosters and your team if it is a joint activity.
• Pass on information to team and coach whenever information is available that needs to get out.
• Represent the particular needs of their respective sport to the boosters.
• Maintain an updated comprehensive parent’s distribution mailing (e-Mail) list for the complete team sports program, as well as individual teams lists (including Varsity, JV & Freshman).
• Act as an good standing representative for our sports program in general and specifically for LBHS Athletic Booster Club.
• Conduct succession planning for team representative(s). A representative’s new term begins after the sports season ends, example - football is played in the Fall, so if the rep has a senior player, that rep needs to recruit a new representative to start in the winter.
• Provide news stories and photographs of their teams to be possibly posted on the LBHS Sports Boosters web site and/or for inclusion in periodic newsletters.
